MARIANITES LOOKING FOR NEW MEMBERS The MARIANITES of Annunciation are giving our parishioners, both men & women, an opportunity to “come and see” and experience. Join them in ministering to the sick and elderly homebound and nursing home residents by visiting and bringing them Holy Communion on Monday mornings. The MARIANITES gather in Saint Francis Hall, usually after the 8:30 AM Mass, for prayers and a meeting and then proceed to their ministry. Come, see for yourself, and then decide if this is the Ministry to which the Lord is calling you. If you are interested, please contact Mary Agnes in the parish office at 299-9111. ________________________________________________________________________________ Pray the rosary after the 8:30 a.m. weekday Mass in the church. All are welcome! _______________________________________________________________________________ St. Vincent de Paul One of the ways we can alleviate the suffering of the needy is through our support of the work of our St. Vincent de Paul Society. As they visit the homes of those in difficulty, the Vincentians seek to uplift those they serve with financial and spiritual assistance. As the needs of the poor increase, let us contribute to them by utilizing our St. Vincent de Paul envelopes and thereby advance this important work of mercy. Matthew 25 reminds us that when we serve the least among us we serve Jesus Himself! Keep your eyes peeled for upcoming meetings and events! ________________________________________________________________________________ SECULAR FRANCISCAN ORDER The Secular Franciscans are a community of Catholic lay men and women, married and single, and diocesan clergy in the world who seek to pattern our lives after Christ in the spirit of St. Francis.
